Terms of Service

"SoulSchema," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Arwin Wu, who operates SoulSchema as a sole proprietorship based in Hong Kong. By using the site you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the service.

SoulSchema lets you submit your birth date, birth time, birth place, gender, and email address to generate an English-language Four Pillars chart and a seven-theme reading (Core Self, Emotional Pattern, Love & Relationships, Social Style, Career Direction, Money & Resources, Growth Lesson). The chart is delivered through a publicly addressable result page and (best effort) a transactional email containing the link.

The service is currently free during the MVP phase. We may introduce paid tiers, member accounts, and additional features in the future.

You must be at least 16 years old to use SoulSchema. By submitting a chart request you confirm that you meet this minimum age. If you submit data on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have their permission.

No account is required to generate a chart. We treat each chart submission as a stand-alone request. If we introduce member accounts later, additional terms specific to accounts may apply, and we will tell you at sign-up.

You agree not to:

• Submit data about another person without their consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the chart generation service in a way that interferes with other users (the human-verification gate exists to protect this).
• Use the service to transmit spam, malware, or content that infringes the rights of others.
• Re-host SoulSchema-generated reports as your own commercial product without our written permission.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction.

SoulSchema reports describe patterns and tendencies grounded in the classical Four Pillars (子平 / Bazi) framework. They are intended as a tool for self-reflection and curiosity. They are not a substitute for professional advice in any of the following domains:

• Medical or mental-health diagnosis or treatment.
• Legal advice, immigration advice, or contract review.
• Financial planning, investment recommendations, or insurance recommendations.
• Relationship advice that should otherwise involve a qualified counselor.
• Any decision with significant or irreversible real-world consequences (career changes, marriage, fertility decisions, large purchases, etc.).

If you are struggling with your mental health, please contact a licensed professional or a local crisis line. SoulSchema does not provide crisis support.

The birth information you provide remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to use it for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy (generating, storing, and delivering your chart, and operating the service). We do not claim any ownership over your chart contents and do not use your data to train artificial-intelligence models.

The site code, design, written copy, and report-template wording on SoulSchema are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property rights. You may share your generated report by URL or screenshot for personal or non-commercial purposes. You may not redistribute the site’s underlying templates, copy, or code as your own product.

Each generated chart receives a randomly generated public URL of the form /natal-chart/<publicId>. Anyone who has this link can view the chart page. We do not list links publicly, but they are designed to be shareable. Treat the link the way you would treat a private photo album link. If you want a link permanently disabled, contact support@soulschema.com.

We make a reasonable effort to keep the service available, but during the MVP phase we provide the service "as is" with no service-level agreement. Chart generation may fail occasionally — for example if the chart-rendering language model is unavailable or your input is incomplete. In those cases you can retry; we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

To the maximum extent allowed by applicable law, SoulSchema and Arwin Wu are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including any decision you make in reliance on a chart reading. Our total liability for any direct damages, where liability cannot be excluded, is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months for the service, or (b) USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations. If yours does not, only the limitations that are enforceable will apply, and the remainder of these Terms will continue in force.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arwin Wu from claims that arise from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right (for example, submitting another person’s data without their consent).

We may change these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site and the effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you abuse the service or violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example, intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the courts of Hong Kong, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
